Who are we?

William Hamelin is an artisan chocolatier who has lived in the Médoc for fifteen years. He was inspired by landscapes filled with vineyards, his experience as a chocolatier and discoveries of good wines motivated him to combine these two elements to create 'Chocolat Bacchus'. After four years of research and development with his team, and the help of Bordeaux agri-food laboratories, a recipe was patented allowing the realization of this jewel.

Through his discoveries around the world, William Hamelin became Honorary President Disciple of Auguste Escoffier, Knight of Agricultural Merit and President d'Honneur of the French Culinary Association of Great Britain and President of French Association of Great Britain .

Bacchus Chocolates are made using state-of-the-art equipment with controlled sanitary standards allowing an innovative production, creating the combination of liquid wine inside chocolate.
